Kenneth Delmas Finchum, 63, of Albemarle passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 in Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis.? His funeral service will be 11 AM Thursday, January 12, 2017 in Prospect Baptist Church with Pastor Stoney Benfield and Pastor Ray Johnson officiating.? Entombment will follow in the Stanly Gardens of Memory Mausoleum.? The family will receive friends at Prospect Baptist Church from 9:30 until 10:30 prior to the funeral service.
Born January 26, 1953 in Charlotte, NC, Mr. Finchum was the son of the late Walter Delmas Finchum and Blanche Jeanette Lynch Finchum and was a retired employee of Ingersol Rand.? He was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.? He loved to fish and he was a member of the NRA. ?In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Norma Miller Finchum in 2011.
Mr. Finchum is survived by his wife Sue Lynn Semenuck Finchum of the home.? Other survivors include brother Gary Finchum of Belmont and sisters Libby Stiles of Gastonia and Lynn Harris of Belmont.
