Kelly Pinkston Plowman, 49, of New London passed away November 3, 2016 in CHS Northeast.? Her funeral service will be 1 PM Thursday in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Blake officiating.? Burial will follow in Faith Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.? The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care.
Born January 23, 1967 in Cabarrus County, NC, she was the daughter of Bobbie Whitley Pinkston and the late Carl Pinkston.? She was an employee of Phillip Morris and a member of Faith Freewill Baptist Church.? ?Kelly loved life and was a loving care-giver and friend to many people.
She is survived by her husband Danny Ray Plowman of the home.? Other survivors include son Paul Casimo of Greenville, NC, brother Carl Lee Pinkston of Millingport, sisters Rhonda Dilks (Mike) of Wilmington and Beverly Gray (Eddie) of Kernersville and sister-in-law Sherri Pinkston as well as a number of nieces and nephews.? She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Thelma Plowman, brother-in-law Rick Plowman (Sally) and sister-in-law Wendy Watts (Kenny), special Aunt Ruth Coggin, special friend Linda Palmariello, and special family friend Tommy Dixon.? She is also survived by her special dog, Angel. ?She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Oliver, and a niece, Angel Pinkston.
