Our loving heavenly father feels our pain as well. He offers comfort to us from his word the Bible. Psalm 34:18 reminds us that "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." And the beautiful promise for the future at Revelation 21:4 which says: "And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
