Keith Daniel Harward's Obituary
Keith Daniel Harward, 86, passed away on Saturday, July 8th, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM Tuesday July 11th, 2023 at Lakeview Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Don Burleyson. Burial to follow in Harwards Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday July 10th, 2023 from 6-8PM at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care, Albemarle
Mr. Harward is survived by his daughter, Cindy Laton (Eddy) of Albemarle. Mr. Harward is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Travis Lane Hatley (Amber) of Albemarle and Haley Hatley of Albemarle. Most importantly, Mr. Harward, affectionately known as “Paw-Paw” is remembered by: Grace, Zachary, Katie, Miley, Mia, Ali, Laynie and Liam. Mr. Harward is also survived by a special friend Janet Jordan.
Mr. Harward was born in Stanly County, NC on October 7th, 1936 to the late Grady and Elizabeth Harward. Mr. Harward is also predeceased by his son Chris Harward, brothers; Roy, Bill and Joe Harward and sisters; Mattie Stirewalt, Kaye Lambert and Veigh Lambert. Mr. Harward was a strong Christian man who is now rejoicing in the arms of Jesus. He was a dedicated father who always put others first before his own needs. He loved gardening and exhibited chivalry in every way, which was his best character trait. He was always eager to lend a helping hand and could fix anything. Mr. Harward was lovingly remembered by his Sunday school class for his devout prayer life and abilities.
