Kay K. Brantley's Obituary
Mrs. Kay Kerley Brantley, age 81, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Atrium Health-Union.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Love Baptist Church, 707 Deese Road, Monroe, NC 28110, officiated by Reverend Don Thompson and Reverend Evan Thompson. Interment will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1901 Lancaster Hwy, Monroe, NC 28112.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM Wednesday, at Love Baptist Church prior to the funeral ceremony.
Mrs.Brantley was born on July 22, 1937, in Chesterfield County, SC, a daughter of the late James L. Kerley and Bobbie Rogers Kerley. She was married to the late Richard (Doc) Brantley. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, ceramics and cross stitch. Kay was also a member of Love Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sister, Donna Hill of Monroe and her brother, Jimmy Kerley of Monroe.
