Kay Frances Beasley's Obituary
Mrs. Kay Frances (Courtney Baucom) Beasley, 81, passed away, November 29, 2021 at Jesse Helms Center in Monroe. Born May 3, 1940 in Scotland County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Curtis Beasley and Patsy Pauline High. She was previously married to Jerry D. Courtney, father of her children.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Kay will be 2 PM Friday at the chapel of Davis Funeral Service with burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe. Rev. Joe High will be officiating services. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1-1:45 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Beasley is survived by her son J. Wayne Courtney (Vicky) of Indian Trail; daughter, Kimberly (Kim) Courtney Medlin (Doug) of Monroe; sister, Ann Mangum (Parks) of Monroe; grandchildren, Michael Courtney (Paige) and Kaylee Medlin; great grandson, McCoy Courtney Luther.

The family would like to thank the staff at Jesse Helms Center and Hospice nurses for the care they gave to Kay while at the facility.
