Kathy Wilhoit Watkins, age 60 of Albemarle, NC passed away Saturday, September 16th, 2017 at her home.? Her funeral will be Tuesday, September 19th at 2:00PM in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel with Rev. Alan Didio officiating.? Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery.? The family will receive friends from 12:30PM until 1:30PM prior to the service.
Mrs. Watkins was born September 17th, 1956 in Stanly County, NC? to the late John Charles Wilhoit and Mable Andrews Wilhoit.? She worked in the domestic house services.? She was a charter member of Encounter Christ Church.? She enjoyed being with her family, reading her Bible, and going out to eat on Saturdays with her sister.
Mrs. Watkins is survived by a daughter; Julie Watkins Crisco (Victor) of Albemarle, NC, three sons; Jeremy C. Watkins (Amber) of Albemarle, NC, James T. Watkins of Macon, GA, and William C. Watkins (Tresa) of Gold Hill, a sister Shelia Wilhoit Lambert (Leonard) of Locust, NC, a nice Tammy Helms of Locust, NC, a nephew Chip Nowling of Locust, NC, eleven grandchildren; Jordan, Jatlynne, Joshua, Rudy, Jade, Jacob, Jeremiah, Jaden, Heaven, Kailey, and Jaden, and two great grand kids; Jay?Veon and Jazlynne.
