Mrs. Kathleen Elizabeth McGeehan, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013. She was 87 years old.
Graveside Services to Celebrate the Life of Kathleen McGeehan will be conducted at 12:00 PM noon, Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.
Mrs. McGeehan was born on November 13, 1925, in New Brunswick, Upper Cape, Canada, a daughter of the late John Spires and Ethel Bird Spires.Kathleen was also predeceased by her brother, Franklin Spires and her sister Joan Ethel Small.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Lawrence F. McGeehan of the home; her brother Lawrence Spires, her children, Judith Jacobsen ( Donald) of Waxhaw, NC, her son Lawrence,jr. of Connecticutt; grandchildren Jennifer Praskieviez, Michael Jacobsen, Ryan McGeehan, Jeremiah McGeehan, and John McGeehan, all of Connecticutt, and Karen Barbere of Wesley Chapel, NC; great grandchildren Kayla, Ashley, River, and Ryder.
