Karen McLaurin Biles' Obituary
Karen Jan McLaurin Biles, 67, of Rochester, MN passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus. Her graveside service will be 2PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor James Locklear officiating.
Born December 26, 1953 in Stanly County, NC she was the daughter of the late Amos Dewey McLaurin Jr. and Hazel Almond McLaurin. She was of the Baptist Faith and worked as an appointment coordinator with the Mayo Clinic. She loved birds, and wildlife, camping, and hiking, and she enjoyed spending time at the beach.
Mrs. Biles is survived by her husband of 50 years, Marvin Dennis Biles Jr. of the home. Other survivors include Nathan Biles (Tanya) of Farmington, MN and Wesley Biles (Katie) of Phoenix, AZ, brother Alan McLaurin (Glenda) of Adams Run, SC, and seven grandchildren: Mary, Alex, Thomas, Margaret, Paul, Francis, and Peter.
