Justin Hayes Stevens' Obituary
MONROE: Justin Hayes Stevens, 25, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014. A native of Union County. He was born on May 1, 1989 and graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2013.
He was predeceased by grandfathers Pete Smith and Walton Stevens and step-grandmother Esther Stevens.
Survivors include his father, David F. Stevens of Little Rock, Arkansas, and his mother Andrea Smith Stevens of Monroe. He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Phyllis Smith of Monroe and two uncles Earl Smith of Texas, and Steve Cunningham of Virginia; five aunts, Marcy (Robert) Stanton of New Hampshire and Julia Smith of Florida, Brenda Bourne of Virginia, Judy Griffin (Jeff) of Monroe and Jeannie Nelson of Virginia. Additional survivors include special brothers Nate Sumner and Joseph Whitley and their families.
Funeral services to be conducted by the Reverend Frank Crump will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 3 PM in the Davis Funeral Home Chapel with visitation beginning at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to *Redfish at 1012 Semmes Lane, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
The family suggests casual dress.
