Judy Lorraine Ball Wilkins, 81, of Mt. Gilead, NC, passed Saturday, March 23, 2024. There will be no services at this time.
Judy was born October 27th, 1942, in Detroit, MI. She was the daughter of the late Carl Lewis Ball and Edna Jane Lowe Ball. Judy attended high school in Cuyahoga Falls and went into the dog groomer business in Laurinburg, NC. She was a member of Twin Harbor Church in Mt. Gilead, NC. Also, she loved attending yard sales and loved doing crafts.
Judy was married to the late James Wilkins. She was proceeded in death by her son Allen Shipp, Step-son James Ray Wilkins and her daughter Janice Nixon-Baker Granddaughter Tara Nixon. Judy’s survivors include son Stephen Shipp (Karen) of Woodbridge, VA, one step-daughter Betty Black of Aberdeen, NC, brother Jerry Ball (Claire) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Granddaughter’s Leah Shipp, Locust Grove, VA, Kelsey Colgan, North Chesterfield, VA, Grandson Chad Nixon of Memphis, TN.
