Judy Squires' Obituary
Mrs. Judy Simpson Squires, age 62, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014, at CMC-Union.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Corinth Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Roy Helms and Reverend Jeff Smith.
Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Simpson was born on November 29, 1951, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late
William Broadus Simpson and Mildred Mae Mullis Simpson. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Broadus Simpson, Jr. and a sister, Karen S. Honeycutt.
She was with the US Coast Guard, Stationed in Cape May, New Jersey in the food service division.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas M. Squires of Monroe, North Carolina; a daughter, Marti K. Banach (Paul) of Cape May, New Jersey; a brother, Dennis R. Simpson (Pam) of Waxhaw, North Carolina; three sisters, Doris S. Dalton of Hemby Bridge, North Carolina, Jean S. Gregory (Bill) of Raleigh, North Carolina and Robin S. Gilbert of Cape May, New Jersey.
There are four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM prior to the funeral ceremony at Corinth Baptist Church, 3805 Corinth Church Road, Monroe, NC 28112.
