Judy Pressley's Obituary
Mrs. Judy Bigham Pressley, age 69, of Wingate, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015 at her residence. A native of Union County, she was born March 27, 1946, to Baxter Fate Bigham and Mary Ella Hancock Bigham. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pressley will be conducted on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM by the Reverend Ralph Holt and Reverend Shad Hicks at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 1003 E. Franklin Street, Monroe, NC. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, December 4, 2015, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Pressley, a brother, Leonard Hampton Bigham and three sisters, Aileen Brady, Connie Pass and Ellen Tetlow.
Survivors include a son, Danny Franklin Pressley of Monroe, a daughter, Jennifer P. Gribben (Stephen) of Monroe, and three grandsons Nycholas Gribben, Samuel Gribben, and Jonah Gribben all of Monroe. Additional survivors are brothers, James Love Bigham (Cecelia) of Browns Mill, NJ, Baxter Bigham of Tuscon, AZ, Jack Neal Bigham (Pat) of Chesterfield, VA, and George Bigham (Pat) of Waxhaw. There are two surviving sisters, Pauline Moser of Mooresville, NC, Lucy Pigg of Monroe, NC and one sister-in-law Doris Bigham of Petersburg, VA. There are numerous nieces and nephews. Judy is also survived by her loving church family from Sutton Park Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in memory of Frank and Judy, be made to the American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Road, Charlotte, NC 28210-2224
