Juanita was born August 7, 1944, in West Virginia to the late Paul Lifford Farmer and Margorie Elizabeth Duncan-Farmer. She married Robert Hugh Cooper in Folkston, GA on August 8th, 1960, the day after her 16th birthday. She attended Englewood High School in Jacksonville, FL to the 8th grade and didn't graduate because she got married instead to the love of her life and the only boyfriend she ever had in her life.
She had numerous jobs, the first being babysitting her brothers and sisters then her future husband’s nieces and nephews in Jacksonville FL. She worked at a steak house, a school cafeteria, a hotel in housekeeping, Perfect Fit, Alisons, Ingles in Albemarle (she was one of the first employees in that store in the Bakery Dept.), a daycare, and SCCM Clothing Closet for several years where she retired from.
Juanita was happiest when she was cleaning her house or baking and cooking for her family and friends. She loved to watch people enjoy food and fellowship with one another. She also loved gardening, embroidery when she was younger, traveling to see the country and their families. She was a member of First Assembly of GOD Albemarle for 40 years (approx.) and she participated in the activities at church including numerous plays, choir, Sunday school teacher, vacation Bible school, working the dinners and functions at church serving food or whatever needed to be done, ladies ministry, trunk or treat. She also baked many cakes for the Badin Fire Dept. Barbeque Fundraisers. Juanita enjoyed it all.
Mrs. Cooper is survived by her husband Robert Hugh Cooper of the home in Badin, Cheryl Diane Olsen (daughter) of Badin, Bradley Matthew Olsen (Christina)(grandson), Jennifer Marie Olsen (granddaughter), Amiaya Leanna (great-granddaughter), Marley Jean (great-granddaughter), Kinsley Grace (great-granddaughter), Matthew Scott ( great-grandson) all of Badin, Roger Lee Farmer (brother) of Albemarle, Hurley Joe Farmer (brother) of Norwood, Julia Ann Farmer-Barber (sister) of Rossville, GA. Juanita also had numerous nieces and nephews located all over the country. She was preceded in death by Paul Edward Farmer (brother) of VA, John Raymond Farmer (brother) of FL, Jerry Peyton Farmer (brother) of LA, Carol Jean Johnson (sister) of TN. She loved her family and prayed for the whole family everyday.
