Joyce Audrey Myers' Obituary
Mrs. Joyce Audrey Myers, age 86, of Monroe, North Carolina passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Jesse Helms Nursing Center.
Service arrangements to celebrate the life of Mrs. Myers are underway and additional information will be provided once available.
Joyce was born June 17, 1931 in Lockport, New York, the daughter of the late Kenneth Gardner and Ruth Markle. She is warmly remembered by her family as a loving mother and grandmother with a great sense of humor who treated everyone with fairness and compassion.
Survivors include a son, Gary Myers, a daughter, Judy Nye (William) of Waxhaw, NC, a son, Dennis Myers (Jewel) of Lockport, NY, a daughter, Marcia Kiff (Matt) of Lockport, NY, and a brother, Robert Gardner of Florida. Survivors also include eight grandchildren; Jeffery Nye (Melissa) of Charlotte, NC, Bradley Nye (Hannah) of Holly Springs, NC, Alan Myers (Deanna) of Tonawanda, NY, Honour Myers of LeRoy, NY, Alyssa Skelton (Levi) of Lockport, NY, Lauren Pavlic (Luke) of Charlotte, NC, Morgan Kiff (Tyler) of Cortland, NY, Jennifer Seib (Jason) of Newfane, NY, and Jacob Kiff of Lockport, NY. Joyce is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Myers.
