Joshua ?Josh? ?Kevin Furr, 29, of Albemarle passed away Friday, June 30th, 2017 at CMC Main in Charlotte NC.? A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11 AM in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel.? The service will be officiated by Pastor Tony Thomas. ?The family will greet friends following the service.
Josh was born September 10th, 1987 in Stanly County, NC. ?He was the son of Kevin Max Furr of Albemarle and Angela Caudle Burris and Charles Kenneth Burris of Albemarle.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Furr is survived by his wife Lynsey Jane Furr of Albemarle and his son Skyler Furr and daughter Kirra Furr, a brother Jarad Furr of Charlotte and a sister Amanda Davis and husband Michael of Albemarle.? His maternal grandfather, Ed Caudle and wife Pat Caudle of Badin, paternal grandmother, Carol Hatley and step-grandfather, Kenneth Burris of Albemarle also survive.? He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, June Caudle, step grandmother, Jahala Burris, and paternal grandfather, Max Furr.
Josh attended North Stanly High School, graduating in 2005, and served in the US Army, 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg, NC.? He enjoyed music, outdoor activities, and most of all spending time with his family.? He was a cherished son, devoted husband, adoring father, and loving brother.? His kindness, beautiful smile, and warm sense of humor will greatly be missed.
