Joseph Alonzo Wilson,'s Obituary
Joseph Alonzo Wilson, II, 38, of Albemarle, ended his journey here on earth Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at his home. He was born June 16, 1978 to Caroline Heath Furr and the late Joseph A. Wilson, I.? Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, December 11, 2016 in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care Chapel in Albemarle, NC. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00PM prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Ceterview Baptist Church Cemetery.
He grew up in Calvary Baptist Church in Kannapolis, NC where he was very active and a part of the Royal Ambassadors. Joseph loved people, children, and playing sports very much. While in High School at A.L. Brown, he played the trombone in the marching band before he graduated in 1996.
Joseph is survived by his mother Caroline Heath Furr of Albemarle, NC; brother John Joseph Wilson of Norfolk, VA; sisters Cheryl Driggers of Florence, SC, Jo Lynn Bradshaw of Taylors, SC, and Lisa Sheets of Salisbury, NC; and his aunt Diane McCarthy of Lake Helen, FL. Special thanks to Hospice of Stanly & the Uwharrie as well as a wonderful family friend, Mrs. Deanette Russell for all their help caring for Joseph.
