Joseph Lynn Hinson, 60, of New London passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in CHS-Stanly.? A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 11 AM in Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin McCormac officiating.
Born September 14, 1956 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of Glenna T. Hinson of New London and the late Joseph B. Hinson.? He was a cabinet maker with Quality Wood Shop and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.? He loved duck hunting and gardening and he was the best Paw Paw ever.
Mr. Hinson was married to Cindy Starnes Hinson of the home.? Other survivors include son Bryan Lynn Hinson and wife Maggie of New London, daughter Stacy Hinson Dunn and husband Jonathan of New London, brother Michael B. Hinson and wife Debbie of New London, and 3 granddaughters, Carlee Hinson, Journi Dunn and Allee Hinson.
