Joseph Salvatore Curella, Sr.'s Obituary
Joseph Salvatore Curella, Sr., 63, of Stanfield, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in his home. There will be no funeral service or visitation.
Born March 21, 1958 in Dade County, FL to the late Bernard Curella, Sr. and Jessie Clyde Hoyle Curella. He had previously drove a school bus for Lee County, FL. Joseph was a Christian and he loved his family. He was huge Star Trek fan. Joseph also sang with his brothers in a band, "The Curella Brothers".
He is survived by his wife, Melody Ann Aney Curella of the home. Other survivors include two sons, Joseph Salvatore Curella, Jr. of Stanfield, NC and Aaron Giovonni Curella (Ashley) of Greencastle,IN; a daughter, Angelina Marie Smith (Steven) of Stanfield, NC; a brother, Bernard Curella of Bainbridge, IN; a sister, Angeline Salisbury (Hal, Sr.) of Bainbridge, IN.; grandchildren, Lyliana Martin of Cleveland, TN, Alyssa Smith of Stanfield, NC, Arabella Smith of Stanfield, NC, Axel Curella of Greencastle, IN and Alexander Curella of Greencastle, IN; nieces and nephews, Jessica Salvatore & husband, Hal Salisbury & wife, Matthew Salisbury, Teresa See & husband, Anthony Curella,Jr., Marie Hubner & husband and Bernard Curella & wife; sister in law, Pam Curella. Mr. Curella was also preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Curella.
