Jordan Anthony Martin, 25, of Norwood passed away December 1, 2016.? His funeral will be 2 PM Sunday, December 4, 2016 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Futterer officiating.? Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Park.? The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care from 4 until 7 PM.
Born June 5, 1991 in Stanly County, NC he was the son of William Anthony ?Andy? Martin Jr. of Marshville and Christy Kimrey Martin of Norwood.? He was a graduate of South Stanly High School and he formerly attended UNCC.? Jordan was an avid reader and he enjoyed video games.? He loved to talk and had a great sense of humor.
In addition to his parents, Jordan is survived by his sister Meredith Erin Martin of Raleigh, paternal grandparents William Anthony ?Tony? Martin Sr. and Patricia Howell Martin of Ansonville and maternal grandparents Benson Kimrey and Janice Deese Kimrey of Albemarle, and uncle Derrick Kimrey of Raleigh and uncle Paul Sikes of Peachland.? An aunt Jennifer Martin Sikes preceded him in death.
