Johnsie Drye Herlocker's Obituary
Johnsie Ann Drye Herlocker, 76, of New London passed away
December 7, 2019 in the Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis. A memorial service to honor her life will be
held at 1 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2019 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel,
Albemarle with Pastor Keith Walters officiating.
Born May 19, 1943 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter
of the late Hugh Henry Drye and Selma Ann Hall Drye. She was a homemaker and a member of the
Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death
by her husband William Larry Herlocker in 2016, a son Michael Kent Blake in
1993, two sisters Faye Pickler and Betty Hathcock and a brother Richard Drye.
Mrs. Herlocker is survived by daughters Cynthia Blake
Thomason (Jeff) of Concord and Karen Evette Herlocker (John) of New London,
sisters Jean Thompson of Oakboro, Vivian Sinclair of Albemarle and Sherry
Hudson of Albemarle, grandchildren Candice Hudson (Chris) of Concord, Tiffany
Thomason of Concord, Chad Melton, Gabriel Kulbe and Jacob Herlocker all of New
London, great grandchildren Hayden Hudson and Paisley-Ann Hudson both of
Concord.
