Johnsie Carroll Harris' Obituary
Mrs. Johnsie Carroll Harris, 85, of Wingate, NC passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Autumn Care of Marshville following an extended illness. A native of Yancey County, NC she was daughter of the late Decatur and Julie Jones Carroll, and a homemaker.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Robert Harris, and twin children Ricky Harris and Vicky Harris Horne.
Survivors include one son, Terry (Davil) Harris of Charlotte and two daughters, Robin Martin of Peachland and Linda (Ronnie) Rogers of Cramerton, NC. Additional survivors include a sister, Lucille Riddle of Marion, NC, 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday evening, August 24, 2015, at 8:00PM at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 1003 E. Franklin Street, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will greet friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM prior to the service. An on-line register is available at www.davisfuneralservice.com.
