I'm sorry to hear of John's passing. I remember him as a young person mainly because I lost touch with him when I was around 11 years old. I remember spending a summer with his children Michael and Susan.
So sorry to hear of John's passing but what a life well lived. An absolute "First Class" gentleman. I remember he and Miss Peggy sitting in their "spot" when they attended Marshallberg Baptist Church. The opportunity of having them as part of our community has made us all better people.
The practical knowledge and wisdom John imparted as leader of our men's Sunday school class. Many great conversations and discussions I'll never forget. A great appreciation for the positive impact John had on so many lives both seen and unseen. As scripture says... "to be absent from the body means to be present with the Lord". Although you're no longer physically in our presence you are in our thoughts and will always be remembered. We love and miss you. Rest in peace my friend !
We are deeply saddened to learn of John's passing. I have fond memories of when we were kids, visiting our grandparents, and playing with John, Frank, and Margaret, his siblings. Those were happy times I will always remember. My sympathies go to his children and grandchildren, to Frank, his brother, and Margaret, his sister. You will see him again one bright, wonderful day. Heaven is a beautiful place. Remember, he loved chocolate cake. I do hope there is chocolate cake in Heaven.
I was so sorry to learn of John's death. When I was a child we saw him during summer visits to my grandmother's house, and I remember him so fondly. My thoughts are with Margaret, Frank, Mike & Susan and their children & grandchildren. Sending love & wishing you peace.
I am sorry for your loss. Prayers that God's peace and comfort will surround you today and in the days ahead.
