John Michael Ritchie's Obituary
John Michael Ritchie, 85, of Albemarle passed away on February 25, 2024 in his home. His funeral service will be 11 AM on Thursday, February 29, 2024 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Petersen officiating. Burial will follow in Stanly Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 PM.
Born August 14, 1938 in Stanly County, NC he was the son of the late Charles Miller Ritchie and Agnes Napier Ritchie. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Albemarle. Mr. Ritchie was an electrical engineer and a former employee of Federal Pacific and Pass and Seymour.
Mr. Ritchie is survived by his wife Ann Aldridge Ritchie of the home, his daughter Alexis Eudy (Mark Theberge) of Albemarle, grandchildren Peyton Eudy and Piper Eudy, and nephew Henry Vernon Sanders III. A sister, Rochelle Miller Wilson, preceded him in death.
