John S McDill's Obituary
Mr. John S. McDill, age 69, of Pageland, South Carolina passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at his residence.
John was born July 21, 1948 in Birmingham, Alabama, the son of the late James Brice McDill and Bernell Cosby. Mr. McDill served our country through his service in the Navy during the Vietnam War. After moving to North Carolina, he was a machine operator for Rexham. He is fondly remembered by his family for his sense of humor and being a great storyteller.
Survivors include his daughter, Leah Keziah and husband Rob of Monroe, NC, a son, John Steven McDill Jr. of Waxhaw, NC, four grandchildren; Dylan Hathcock, Morgan Hathcock, Ryan Hathcock, and Cathryn Hathcock. He is also survived by his sister, Freeda Parker of Marietta, GA.
