John Stuart Hoffmann's Obituary
Mr. John S. Hoffmann, age 75, of Polkton, North Carolina, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016, at Hospice of Union County.
Memorial Services to celebrate his life will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Hopewell United Methodist Church, 1715 Hopewell Church Road, Peachland, NC, 28133.
Mr. Hoffmann was born on November 13, 1940, in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Edward Hoffmann and Bertha Marker Hoffmann.
He was a retired part time manager with the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
He was also a US Navy Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, MoraLee Hayman Hoffmann of Polkton; a son, William Howard Hoffmann of Falmouth, MA; two daughters, Martha Claire Hoffmann of Olive Branch, MS, and Debora Ann Hill Nichols of Bartlett, TN; a brother, Edward Marker Hoffmann of Gainesville, FL.
There are two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
