Johanna (Post) Rossignol's Obituary
In the early hours of Tuesday, April 2, 2019 our dear
mother, Johanna Mary (Post) Rossignol a.k.a. Nana departed this world
peacefully to enter into eternal bliss.
Born July 13, 1946 in Hartford, CT, to Frederick & Doris
(Kerry) Post, both deceased, she was also predeceased by a brother Frederick
?Skipper? Post Jr. She joins her beloved
husband of 51 years ? Jeannot Rossignol who passed just 9 months earlier.
She leaves behind 4 children Michele Kerry of CT, Rachelle
Rossignol of Mt. Gilead, Robert Rossignol of Mt. Gilead, and Jeannot Rossignol
Jr. and wife Sara of CT, 12 grandchildren: Andrew LaFlamme, Nathan LaFlamme,
Matthew LaFlamme, Zachary Shea and wife Ashley, Jeffrey Shea, and wife Stormy,
Allen Morrill, Brian Morrill (USMC), Andra Rossignol, Faith Rossignol, Natalie
Rossignol, Julia Rossignol, and Joshua Rossignol, 5 great grandchildren:
Scarlett, Liam, Madalyn, Rory and Luke.
She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
In life, she was a hair dresser before becoming disabled and
she enjoyed painting and doing anything crafty.
She & her husband loved to go out to eat and she absolutely loved
caramel macchiato?s, which we had gotten for her as one of her last requests a
few days before her passing. She and her
husband together were a force to be reckoned with and even when they were at
odds with each other, their love for each other was evident.
She will be missed dearly by all those who knew her as a
mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend.
She was ready to be with her beloved husband and wished not
to have a memorial service. She and her
husband wanted their ashes scattered in Maine or Canada.
