Joan Caudle Almond's Obituary
Joan Caudle Almond, 88, of Albemarle passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Atrium Health - Northeast, Concord, NC. A graveside service will be held at 2PM Monday, January 4, 2021 in the Canton Baptist Church Cemetery in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Mark Mabry.
Mrs. Almond was born July 21, 1932 in Stanly County to the late Charlie Caudle and Aria Almond Caudle. She was a retired secretary working with Commercial Refrigeration Co and a member of Canton Baptist Church. She loved traveling with her husband in their motorhome. Mrs. Almond was a great mother and grandmother.
Joan is survived by her husband of 69 years, Tommy Almond; son: Todd Almond and wife Suzanne of Denver, NC; daughter: Connie Almond Ford and husband Tracy of Cornelius; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Susan Plummer and her sister Jahala Hatley.
