Jo Ann Lowder Hatley, 71, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 in Stanly Regional Medical Center.? Her memorial service will be 11 AM Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Smith officiating.? They family will receive from 10 until 10:45 prior to the hour of the service.
Born August 19, 1944 in Mecklenburg County, NC, Mrs. Hatley was the daughter of the late Claude Lowder and Edna Louise Vanhoy Lowder.? She was a homemaker.? She was preceded in death by her husband William Winfred Hatley in 2003.
Mrs. Hatley is survived by a son Jeffrey William Hatley of Albemarle, daughter Melissa H. Bowden and husband John of Albemarle, sister Ozell Manning of Locust, grandson Eric Ingold and wife Melissa and great-granddaughter Leia Ingold.
