Jimmy William Eudy, Sr.'s Obituary
Jimmy William Eudy Sr. passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 in his home. Mr. Eudy was born to the late Ben and Martha Eudy on July 22, 1935. The family will receive friends at South Albemarle Baptist Church on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 11 AM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12 Noon.
Mr. Eudy is survived by his wife of 69 years, Tommie Poplin. Other survivors include daughter Theresa E. Dry and Jimmy W. Eudy Jr. (Jan), two grandchildren Tiffanie E. West and Hank Dry, two great-grandchildren and one sister Betty Mabe of Charlotte. He is predeceased by a brother Kenneth Eudy.
Mr. Eudy was a retired truck driver and a member of South Albemarle Baptist Church where he served as past deacon and past chairman of the building and grounds committee. The family wishes to express thanks to Community Hospice and Ann Horton for her love and support to the family during Mr. Eudy's illness.
