Jimmie Brown Russell's Obituary
Jimmie Brown Russell, 76, of Locust, NC, passed Tuesday March 12, 2024 at his home. Jimmie’s Celebration of Life will be Saturday March 23, 2024 at 2 PM at Community Baptist Church. Landon Keziah and Rev. Steve Jirgal will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church after the service.
Jimmie was born September 28, 1947, in Stanly County. He was the son of the late Lloyd Cicero Russell and Zora Belle Russell. He was a graduate of the first class of West Stanly High School. Jimmie retired as a machinist and parts manufacturing. He loved golf, guns and his big red chevy truck.
Jimmie is survived by his wife Rachel Dianne Russell and sons Jerry W. Russell (Patricia) of Locust, NC, William L. Russell (DeAnna) Indian Trail, NC, daughter Christal, McCarver (Calvin) of Monroe, NC, Brother Kenneth Russell (Sylvia) of Locust, NC, 14 grandchildren and 16 great – grandchildren.
