Jessie Jerome Dunford, 79, of Marion, NC, passed away on July 1, 2022. His graveside service will be 10am Friday, July 8, 2022 at Stanly Gardens of Memory.
Born March 31, 1943 in Montcalm, WV, he was the son of the late Ernest Dunford and Vertie Allen Dunford and was a retired Truck Driver with Walmart. He loved and enjoyed working on cars and trucks and working outside. He was a loving and caring man to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Louise Lowder Dunford of the home, daughter Susan Wing (Kenny) of Whiteford, MD, stepson T. J. Randolph of Marion, NC, stepdaughters Lisa Burleson (Chris) of Marion and Beverly Randolph of Marion, NC, 3 brothers Ronnie Dunford (Grace) of Petersburg, VA, Donnie Dunford of Jacksonville, FL, Johnny Dunford (Debbie) of Jacksonville, FL, sisters Roberta Dew (Billy) of Jacksonville, FL, and Nina Jowers (Gene) of Jacksonville, FL, six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Three sisters preceded him in death, Virginia Lowder, Carolyna Arnold, and Judy Marino.
