Dear Family,
We were saddened but also filled with joy that Mr. Raeford is now with his Lord & Savior & Mrs. Bobbie Jean. We were in the mountains at that time & are so sorry that we weren’t able to pay our respect.
We have a lot of fond memories of Mr. Raeford from church like teaching SS, leading the choir, playing his mandolin & singing with his group & chaperoning mission trips just to name a few! He would come to my house on Saturdays when I was around 12 years old & just beginning to play the piano for church, pick out the songs for Sunday service, then practice with me so I wouldn’t be so nervous on Sunday. We will never forget his love for “cathead biscuits”, riding motorcycles, his grand piano & his signature laugh. We were so blessed to have had Mr. Raeford & Mrs. Bobbie Jean in our lives!! May those precious memories fill your hearts in the days & years to come.
