Jerry Phillip Haire's Obituary
Jerry Phillip Haire, 85, of Locust passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 in his home. His funeral service will be held on at 1PM on Friday, March 29, 2024 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Walters officiating. Burial will follow in Norview Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle.
Born June 9, 1938 in Stanly County, NC he was the son of the late George Calvin Haire and Elizabeth Clementine Carpenter Haire. He worked for 42 years for Collins and Aikman and retired as a draftsman engineer. He was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rebecca Fox Haire. Survivors include son Timothy Jerry Haire of Locust, grandchildren Haleigh Hubbard (Wes) of Locust and Tanner Haire (Logan) of Locust, and great-granddaughters Oaklyn Hubbard and Magnolia Grace Haire.
