Jerry Leon Dunn's Obituary
Jerry Leon Dunn, 72, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday May, 4, 2021 at the Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis, NC. His graveside service will be 11am Friday, May 7,2021 at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Talbert officiating. The family will receive friends after the graveside at their home.
Mr. Dunn was born July 24, 1948 in Hamlet, NC to the late Jim Dunn and Katherine Parnell Dunn. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. Mr. Dunn was an employee of Moss Supply for twenty years and a former staff manager with Liberty Life Insurance Company. Jerry enjoyed gardening, wood working, fishing, hunting and going to auction sales. Mr. Dunn loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Maxine Cauble Dunn of the home. Other survivors include two sons, Ronnie Dunn (Lisa) of Albemarle, NC and Timothy Dunn (Maria) of Oakboro, NC; a brother, Jimmy Dunn (Judy) of Albemarle, NC; Sydney Dunn Huneycutt (Dalton) of Albemarle, NC, Gracey Dunn of Albemarle, NC and Marti Kay Dunn of Oakboro, NC.
