Jerry Marshall Brattain's Obituary
Jerry Marshall Brattain, 76, passed away on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. The Funeral Service will be held at 4PM Saturday August 26th, 2023, at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care, Locust, officiated by Rev. Keith Walters. Visitation will be held Saturday August 26th, 2023, from 1-3:45PM at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care, Locust.
Mr. Brattain is survived by his wife, Becky Brattain, son; Chris Brattain of Locust, daughters; Angela Wilson of Mt. Pleasant and Lori Brattain (Ron) of Locust. Mr. Brattain is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Samantha Brattain, CJ Brattain, Marea Brattain, Allison Wilson and Chandler Wilson. He is also survived by sisters; Loretta “Cooter” Barbee (Ray) and Nancy Eudy.
Mr. Brattain was born in Stanly County, NC on October 26th, 1946, to the late Marshall and Sadie Brattain. Mr. Brattain is also predeceased by a son Timothy Brattain. Mr. Brattain was the most loving husband and caring Father and was dedicated to his family. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need and never asked for anything in return. He was the most notable man of many talents.
