Jeremy Shawn Harris' Obituary
Jeremy Shawn Harris, 45, of Mt. Pleasant, a loving husband, father and pappy, passed away on May 5, 2023 at Novant Brunswick Medical Center in Bolivia, NC. His funeral service will be 2 PM on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at New Life Church with Rev. Brandon Bowers officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 until 1:30 prior to the service.
Born November 5, 1977 in Stanly County, NC he was the son of Vickie Lynn Almond Harris of Mt. Pleasant and the late David Vernon Harris. He was Vice President of Operations at Flooring Solutions and was a member of New Life Church. He loved gardening, hunting, fishing, coaching softball, duck hunting and being outdoors. He was a hard worker and was a loving husband and father.
Mr. Harris is survived by his wife of 22 years, Monica Harris, of the home. Other survivors include Hannah Leigh Harris (Landon Russell) and Olivia Lynn Harris (Colby Loftin) both of the home, a sister Jennifer Love (Reid) of Mt. Pleasant and a granddaughter Avery Russell.
The family requests that memorials be made to New Life Church, 157 Brown’s Hill Road, Locust, NC 28097.
