Jennie Talbert Baker, 98, of Albemarle passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 in Bethany Woods Nursing Center.? Her funeral service will be graveside at 10 AM on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in Stanly Gardens of Memory with Rev. Ron Honeycutt officiating.? There will be no formal time of visitation.
Born April 24, 1918 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Robert D. Talbert and Katherine Carpenter Talbert.? She was a retired employee of Wiscasset Mills and a member of Congregational Christian Church.
Mrs. Baker is survived by a niece Betty Andrews of Albemarle and a nephew Toby C. Talbert of Albemarle.
Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is assisting the Baker family.
