Jeffrey Todd Aldridge, 52, of Norwood passed away Friday, July 1, 2016.? His funeral service will be at 2 PM Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Lisk officiating.? Burial will follow in the Porter Cemetery.? The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care from 1 until 2 PM prior to the funeral service.
Born December 6, 1963 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of Judy Martin and stepfather James Martin of Porter and the late Homer Aldridge.? He was a former employee of Fiber Composites and a member of Free Will Community Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Cathy Todd Aldridge in 2014.? In addition to his mother, survivors include a brother Eddie Martin and wife Rene? of Norwood, and a sister Tammy Fraley of Albemarle, 2 nephews Rodney Fraley Jr. and wife Miranda and Dakota Martin and wife Corrie and niece Carrie Arndt and husband Mark, and 12 great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his faithful companion Bandit. He was preceded in death by brothers Jimmy Aldridge and Woody Aldridge and grandparents Ray and Rosa Lee Sasser.
