Jeff William Roland, 48, of Albemarle passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016.? His funeral service will be 3 PM Friday, March 25, 2016 in Salem United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Combs officiating.? Burial will follow in the church cemetery.? The family will receive friends immediately following the burial in the church fellowship hall.
Born November 10, 1967 in Stanly County, NC he was the son of Robert Roland and Joyce Efird Roland of Albemarle.? He was a former employee of Pepsi for 30 years and a member of Salem United Methodist Church. ?Mr. Roland loved to go camping and ride four wheelers and he enjoyed riding is Harley.? His family was his life and he loved spending time with them.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Roland is survived by his wife Kristy Denise Roland, daughters Kaylan Denise Roland, and Karmin Andrea Roland, brother Robert Jerry Roland and wife Lois Ann Roland of Knoxville, TN, and sister Joycelyn Susie Burleyson and husband Rick Dale Burleyson of Mt. Pleasant.? He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.? A daughter Kristen Ann Roland preceded him in death.
The family requests that memorials be made to the charity of the donor?s choice with special emphasis on mental health issues.
