Jeanette Myrtle Morgan's Obituary
Mrs. Jeanette Myrtle Howell Morgan, age 85, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville.
Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at Davis Funeral Chapel, officiated by Reverend Mike Whitson and Reverend Ed Thompson. Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Morgan was born on September 16, 1928, in Winston County, Alabama, a daughter of the late Travis Marse Howell and Mattie Elam Barnes Howell. She was a retired Quality Control Inspector for ATI Allvac.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jerry Shannon Poole.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Poole and wife, Judy, of Monroe, and Jerry Poole and wife, Sheila, of Statesville; two sisters, Onella Taylor and husband, James, and Nelline Pittman and husband, Will all of Alabama; and one brother-in-law Howard Parker also of Alabama. There are six grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends Wednesday (January 8, 2014) from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM prior to the service at Davis Funeral Home; 1003 East Franklin Street in Monroe.
