Jean Spivey Almond's Obituary
Jean Spivey Almond, 83, of Albemarle passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehab.? A graveside service and burial will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 3PM at Centerview Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born March 19, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Robert
Spivey and Ida Capel Spivey. She was a retired
customer service representative from the Albemarle K-Mart. She was a member of Centerview Baptist
Church. She loved birds, flower
gardening, and her dog. She was also
very fond of visiting her beach cottage.
She was preceded in death by her late husband Coy K.
Almond. She is survived by her son;
Michael Almond of Lancaster, SC, her daughter; Gloria Almond McSwain of
Albemarle, NC, grandson Jonathan Robert Almond, and great-grandchildren Miller
Coy Almond and Mason John Almond; aunt Mary Leviner of Monroe, NC; and uncle
Rufus Spivey of Albemarle, NC.
