Janet Ann Green's Obituary
Janet Ann Green, 61, of Locust passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Her funeral will be Wednesday, May 20 at 2 PM at Meadow Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Locust with Elders Eddie Fowler and Charles Smith officiating. Burial will follow at First Baptist Church cemetery in Locust. The family will receive friends from 1 PM to 2 PM prior to the service at the church. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, friends are invited to Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care at 501 N. Central Ave. Locust, NC 28097 to pay their respects.
Born May 5, 1959 in Cabarrus County, Janet is the daughter of Melvin and Ruth Green. She is also survived by her brother, Todd Green (Debbie), and sister, Susan Smith (David) all of Locust. Janet is preceded in death by her infant brother, Roger Dale Green.
Janet was a member of Meadow Creek Primitive Baptist Church and worked with the Stanly County Vocational Workshop. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Stanly & the Uwharrie and her dear friend and caretaker, Alicia Lowder for their love and care for Janet.
