Jane Ellen Vanhoy's Obituary
Jane Ellen Green Vanhoy, 83, of Richfield, NC, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023. Mrs. Vanhoy was born August 12, 1940 in Cabarrus County, NC to the late Ira and Ollie Green. Mrs. Vanhoy was the most loving Mother and Grandmother. She was very active with Mtn. Creek Primitive Baptist Church when her health permitted. Mrs. Vanhoy was a member of the most prestige Red Hat Club.
Mrs. Vanhoy is survived by her husband, Sherrill Vanhoy. She is also survived by a son, Stuart Vanhoy (Jennifer) of Richfield, NC; a granddaughter, Mary Stuart Vanhoy; grandson, Brayden Vanhoy and one sister, Jean Hooker of Chespeake, Va. Mrs. Vanhoy was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Deal.
Visitation will be held from 6-8PM on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care-Albemarle. Her funeral service will be at 11AM, Monday, November 27, 2023 at Mtn. Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Branan Hooven officiating. There will be a private burial.
