Jane Mauldin Talbert's Obituary
Jane Mauldin Talbert, 78, of Albemarle, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Spring Arbor of Albemarle. A graveside service for Mrs. Talbert will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Fairview Memorial Park in Albemarle, N.C.
Mrs. Talbert was born July 24, 1939 in Albemarle, NC, to the late Nan Russell Mauldin and Croson C. Mauldin. She received a Bachelors degree in Education from Appalachian State and a Masters from UNC-Charlotte. Jane taught language arts and social studies at Albemarle Middle School for 30 years.
She is survived by her son Mark Talbert of Albemarle, NC who cared for her lovingly throughout her illness; daughter Beth Talbert Macey and husband Tom of Advance, NC; grandchildren Kyle Macey of Advance, NC and Will Macey of Greenville, SC who loved their Mimi dearly; and a brother Jimmy ?Rutt? Mauldin of Albemarle, NC. Mrs. Talbert was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Benard Talbert and sisters Hazel Stokely, Idell Thompson, Gwen McCallister, and Bobbie Rabon.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie, her dear Althea who was with her when she died, and the entire staff of Spring Arbor.
