Jane Lowder Stoker's Obituary
Jane Whitley Lowder Stoker, 73, of Albemarle passed away on July 12, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC. Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, July? 14, 2017 at Immanuel Baptist Church 1309 Old Charlotte Rd. Albemarle, NC 28001 officiated by Rev. Joe Smith and Rev. Otis Goins. Visitation will be from 11:00AM-12:00PM prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park in Mt. Gilead, NC.
Born July 3, 1944 in Stanly County, NC she was the daughter of the late William Pearl Whitley and Bertha Campbell Whitley. Mrs. Stoker was a graduate of Albemarle Senior High School and was a CNA. She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Baptist Church and she enjoyed cooking and looking after her kids, family, grandkids. She also enjoyed fishing and watching racing.
Mrs. Stoker is preceded in death by her first husband Sam Lowder and her second husband Paul Stoker. She is survived by a son Dean Lowder (Deeanna) of Mt. Gilead, NC; daughter Teresa Haywood (Wyman) of Mt. Gilead, NC; brother Stephen C. Whitley of Oakboro, NC; grandchildren: Mark Haywood (Jennifer) of Mt. Gilead , NC, and Misty Haywood Coffin of Troy, NC; great grandchildren: Tyler Haywood and Camden Haywood of Mt. Gilead, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lowder was preceded in death by a brother William ?Bill? Whitley.
