James Lloyd Tadlock, Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. James Lloyd Tadlock, Jr., age 77, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Carolinas Medical Center-Union.
Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 1003 East Franklin Street, Monroe, NC, 28112, officiated by Mr.Todd Hamilton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at Davis Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, North Carolina.
Mr. Tadlock was born on November 16, 1938, in Union County, North Carolina, to the late James Lloyd Tadlock and Edna Cooper Tadlock.
He was preceded in death by his brother J.D. Tadlock in 1940 and his sister Shirley Walden in 2011.
He was a farmer and enjoyed outdoor activities.
Survivors include his wife Christine Helms Tadlock of Monroe, NC; Christine's daughter Valarie Lorraine Lowery; Christine's grandsons, Jason Underwood and Jonathan Underwood, all of Monroe, NC; his sister Eunice Tadlock Hamilton (Todd) of Monroe, NC; his brother-in-laws, Barnes D. Plyler (Kay) of Monroe, NC and Charles R. Plyler (Peggy) of Pageland, SC.
