My condolences to the family. Losing a loved one is difficult, if not the most difficult thing we ever have to deal with. But the bible gives us hope in that it reminds us that our loved ones that have passed away have the resurrection hope ( John 5:28,29). May your family gain a measure of comfort from Gods promises in the scriptures
