James Kenneth Meyer's Obituary
Mr. James Kenneth Meyer, 65, of Monroe, entered eternal rest at 4:27 AM on May 26, 2015 at his residence. A native of Rockport, Indiana, he was son of the late Earl Meyer and Margaret Ramburger Meyer, and a Marine Veteran of Viet Nam.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Lee Park Baptist Church by Reverend Sam Phipps. Full military honors will follow the service at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Mooney Meyer, a son, Douglas Meyer of the home, three sisters Judy Gassaway and Connie Fuqua both of Owensboro, Kentucky and Linda Thorpe of Indiana. There are two brothers surviving: Bill Meyer of Owensboro, Kentucky and Mike Meyer of Indiana. Additional survivors are two grandsons, Nathan Meyer and Matthew Meyer Gonzalez and 1 great grandson, Landon Cole Meyer.
Mr. Meyer was predeceased by his parents and a daughter Shannon Lynn Meyer and a number of step brothers and sisters.
