Jim and Judy Boger were sponsors of our youth choir at First Baptist Concord. I was assigned to them for 6 years. They beca.e my "Mama and Papa Boger"...they always will be. I was heartbroken when I heard he passed. I now live in Richfield and hoped to cross paths. I hope Mama Boger hears I'm close and want to make contact. My heart is always with you.
Jim was an excellent cook! He and Judy would make homemade red slaw and share it with us. Jim knew how we liked it hot, so he would spice it up. He wanted to get it just right too! The last time that we received his slaw, he had decorated the top of it with beautiful, colorful, pepper rings! I felt the love from him just looking at it! I wish that I had a picture of that slaw now! So delicious, especially because Jim had added his special ingredient! It was his love. We will miss him dearly, but we will see him again in the sweet by and by! He will always be in our conversations, and in our hearts! We will feel his love everyday! Love, Ty and Cherri Barringer
